Tested as NJ351. Gloria was developed at the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station at Rutgers University. Plant Patent 18224 issued 11/20/2007. An outstanding new selection for the mid season, Gloriaâ„¢ is a large, highly colored yellow-fleshed freestone peach ripening just before Cresthaven. The fruit is very firm (nearly nonmelting texture), low acid, with high sugar content and excellent dessert quality. Flowers are nonshowy and leaf glands are reniform. The tree is very productive and resistant to bacterial spot. From Adams County Nursery.
