Clinton, La. Selected in 1969 by P.L. Hawthorn, tested as L-9-A47-33, and
released by C.E. Johnson in 1992. [LeGold x (Redskin x Cardinal)] o.p. Fruit:
large; ellipical; 40% to 50% red blush over yellow ground color; flesh yellow,
nonmelting, clingstone. Ripens at end of June Gold harvest, about 1 June.
Flowers showy; leaf glands reniform. Self-sterile. Trees: vigorous; moderate
resistance to bacterial spot. Chilling requirement 550 h.
