Sweet although not a lot of flavor. Big, deep sutures

Description

Origin is unclear but likely from USDA Fresno, CA breeding program. Tested as numbered selection at Sandhills Res. Stn. in NC. Never formally released but propagated in the trade under name Big Red and also CVN 3.

  • Bloom date is when approx. 90% of blooms are open (full bloom)
