Description

Orig. by C.F. Zaiger, L.M. Gardener, G.N. Zaiger, and C.G.Zaiger, Modesto, Calif. Plant patent 7890; 23Jun.1992. (Red Grand x Crimson Gold) open-pollinated. Fruit: large; firm; nearly globose; excellent flavor; high percentage of red over yellow ground; flesh yellow, melting, clingstone. Ripens 7 days after Crimson Gold. Flowers pink; leaf glands reinform. Tree: large; vigrous; upright; productive. More resistant than Red Grand to bacterial spot.
