Description

Ambre is a very late season, freestone nectarine ripening approximately two weeks after Fantasia (in Pennsylvania). The fruit is medium to large, very firm, with 50% red color over a yellow background when ripe. This nectarine provides an opportunity to extend the nectarine harvest later in the season. It is another introduction from the Riviera Breeding Program in France and is being made available through a license agreement with Brandt's Fruit Trees. Original source to Clemson is Adams County Nursery, Aspers, PA.
