Description

Orig. at Del Ray, Calif., by Tom Chamberlain, H.P. Metzler & Sons. Introd. in 1987. Plant patent 6008; 8 Sept. 1987; assigned to Metropolitan Insurance Co.; licensed exclusively to Agri Sun Nursery. Parentage unknown. Fruit: large, up to 100 mm; round; skin medium red on yellow ground; flesh yellow, freestone. Ripens 90 days after Redhaven in Selma, Calif. Tree: very vigorous; very productive; upright. Very large suture bulge. Highly susceptible to bacterial spot. Ripens unevenly at Byron, GA.
