Large, uneven halves, slight suture bulge, pigment in flesh, firm, smooth, acidic, sour aftertaste. (SSC/TA 12.5)

Description

Orig. 1980, New Jersey Ag. Expt. Stn., New Brunswick, and Stark Brother's Nursery, Louisiana, MO. Plant Patent No. 4572. Very bud hardy. Heavy flower bud setter. Recommended when hardiness needed above that of Rio Oso Gem, but poor appearance limits its use in the South. Moderately resistant to bacterial spot.
